Your skin is a living landscape.
We help it thrive.

Medical and cosmetic dermatology rooted in the understanding that skin is an organ — one shaped by sun, climate, and story. From acne to skin cancer screening, we treat the terrain of darker skin with the precision it deserves.

Conditions We Treat

Every skin has its own weather. We speak the language of melanin-rich skin.

From the persistent flare of eczema in harmattan to the deep marks of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation — we understand how skin behaves under West African sun, humidity, and the unique challenges of darker skin tones.

Acne & Breakouts

Persistent and cystic acne, including adult-onset. Treatment tailored to prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and scarring in darker skin.

Very common

Eczema & Dermatitis

Atopic and contact dermatitis. We address the itch-scratch cycle and the pigmentation changes it leaves behind on melanin-rich skin.

Chronic care

Psoriasis

Plaque, guttate, and scalp psoriasis. Often presents differently on darker skin — we diagnose and manage with this in mind.

Immune-mediated

Hyperpigmentation & Melasma

Dark spots, post-acne marks, and melasma — especially common in darker skin. Treatment that respects melanin biology, not fights it.

PIH specialist

Fungal Infections

Tinea, candidiasis, and other fungal conditions. Warm, humid climates create ideal conditions — we treat the root, not just the surface.

Climate-related

Hair Loss & Scalp

Alopecia areata, traction alopecia, and female-pattern hair loss. Early intervention prevents permanent follicle damage.

Early care

Skin Cancer Screening

Full-body mole mapping and dermoscopy. Skin cancer is less common but often more aggressive in darker skin — vigilance saves lives.

Life-saving

Keloids & Scarring

West African skin has a higher predisposition to keloids. We combine intralesional therapy, silicone, and laser to flatten and soften.

How Treatment Works

Skin is not one thing. It's a depth.

Each layer responds differently to treatment. Understanding depth is the key to treating melanin-rich skin safely — reaching deep enough to heal, without triggering pigmentation.

Our Treatments

From surface to depth. Matched to your skin.

Every treatment is selected based on your skin type, concern, and depth of target. What works for one tone can harm another — we never use a one-size-fits-all approach.

Topical Therapy

Retinoids, azelaic acid, hydroquinone alternatives, and corticosteroids — formulated and dosed for darker skin to minimise irritation and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Epidermis

Phototherapy

Narrowband UVB and PUVA for psoriasis, vitiligo, and severe eczema. Carefully calibrated for melanin-rich skin to avoid burns and pigmentation shifts.

Epidermis & dermis

Laser & Light

Q-switched Nd:YAG for pigmentation, fractional laser for scars and keloids, and IPL for vascular lesions — all with settings optimised for Fitzpatrick IV–VI skin.

Dermis

Chemical Peels

Superficial to medium-depth peels — glycolic, salicylic, and modified Jessner's — chosen and timed to exfoliate without triggering PIH. Not all peels suit all skin.

Epidermis

Minor Surgery

Excision of cysts, keloid revision, skin biopsies, and mole removal. Performed with techniques that minimise scarring and keloid formation in predisposed skin.

The Dermatologists

Rooted in science. Grown for this soil.

Our dermatologists trained in Nigeria, the UK, and the US — but their deepest education came from treating the rich diversity of African skin every day.

Dr. Adaeze Okafor

Dr. Tunde Adeyemi

Dr. Ngozi Eze

Cosmetic Dermatologist · FWACP, Dip (Aesthetics)

Expert in laser and energy-based treatments for Fitzpatrick IV–VI. Ethical to the core — will tell you what you don't need, not just what you do.

Our Promise

Honest skin. No false harvests.

We don't promise perfection. We promise care that's honest, evidence-based, and designed for your skin — not someone else's.

Realistic Expectations

Hyperpigmentation improves over months, not days. Keloids soften but may not vanish. Laser treatments work — but they work gradually. We set the timeline honestly, then we meet it.

No Fake Before & Afters

We don't use stock photos or digitally altered results. What you see in our clinic is real, and so is every word we say about what treatment can and cannot do.

Melanin-First Approach

Protocols designed for lighter skin can harm darker skin. We select every peel strength, laser setting, and medication with your melanin level as the primary consideration.

Climate-Aware Care

Lagos sun, harmattan dryness, humid seasons — your skin faces stress most clinics don't factor in. Your treatment plan accounts for where you live, not just what you look like.

Fees & Consultations

Transparent pricing. No buried roots.

We believe you deserve to know the cost before you commit. These are our standard rates; your personalised plan may vary based on complexity.
