A dedicated eye institute. We correct the way light lands on your retina — with surgery when it helps, and with honesty when it does not.
This is a working acuity chart, not a decoration. Sit about arm's length from your screen, cover one eye, and read each line aloud. The chart will tell you the smallest line you cleared.
It is a screening aid, not a diagnosis. It cannot detect glaucoma, retinal disease or anything that happens behind a normal-looking eye — which is exactly why the assessment exists.
Stand or sit 60cm from the screen.
Cover your left eye. Read the lines down.
Stop when you can no longer read a line cleanly.
Repeat with the other eye. Compare.
We do not do general medicine. Every surgeon here works on eyes and nothing else.
Reshaping the cornea so light focuses on the retina instead of in front of it. Most patients are off work for a day.
Read → 02The clouded lens comes out, a clear one goes in. We will tell you honestly whether you need a premium lens or the standard one.
Read → 03The back of the eye, where sight is actually recorded. Diabetic retinopathy is the fastest-growing cause of blindness in Nigeria.
Read → 04The thief. It takes peripheral vision first, silently, and what is lost does not come back. We monitor and we slow it.
Read →Corneal topography, pachymetry, refraction, pressure, dilated fundus exam. We map the shape of your eye to the micron before anyone suggests surgery.
Roughly one in five people who come in for LASIK should not have it. Dry eye, a thin cornea, an unstable prescription — we will say so, and tell you what we would do instead.
Both eyes, same session, about fifteen minutes under the laser. You are awake. You will be walked out, not carried.
Day one, week one, month one, then annually. Refractive surgery is a long relationship, not a transaction.

Retina and vitreous. Runs our diabetic retinopathy screening programme across three Lagos LGA clinics.
Glaucoma and anterior segment. Believes the most important tool in the room is a long conversation.
“I had worn glasses since I was eleven. I am thirty-four now and I woke up this morning, opened my eyes, and read the time on the clock across the room. I had to sit down.”
The assessment is the product. If surgery is right for you we will say so. If it is not, you will leave knowing what is actually going on.
